Forthcoming walks are listed in the Walking Programme and on our forum. By clicking on the walk link (if available) in the listings you will be able to read the message posted on the Forum by the walk leader about that walk. In their message, the walk leader will usually give more specific information about times, locations, what to bring and also a brief overview of what the walk will be like.
As a courtesy it is helpful to let the walk leader know if you wish to attend a walk, this gives the walk leader an idea of numbers attending and also an opportunity to advise you of any last minute changes. You may make contact in one of three ways:
- By posting a message in the relevant topic on the Forum.
- By Emailing the walk leader directly from the Forum.
- By telephoning the walk leader (if number given).
If you’re not a Ramblers member, you can try up to three walks for free before joining but if you walk regularly with our group you’ll be expected to become a Ramblers member.
Further details about becoming a member can be found on the Ramblers web site
